Originally from southern Idaho, he moved to Orem, Utah during high school, completed his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University, and earned his medical degree from the University of Utah. He completed his general surgery residency in Phoenix and has continued to advance his expertise in robotics and bariatric surgery throughout his career. Dr. Rasmussen is deeply committed to helping patients heal and thrive through surgical care that is as effective and gentle as possible.
